The notable Spanish artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was one of the founders of Cubism in the early 20th century. Printed by Mourlot, Paris. Victorian silver mounted sword stick, Victorian silver mounted sword stick, the 68cm blade decorated with blue and gilt etching, the grip carved in the form of a bird head with glass eyes (one damaged) and mounted with Birmingham 1893 dated silver collar, the scabbard with a replaced London silver collar dated 1927. Together with a silver mounted walking cane bearing 1916 London hallmarks. The sword stick measures 91cm long.
