Meta Plückebaum (German, 1876-1945), ‘Bzzzzzz’ original hand coloured dry point etching, signed lower right, titled lower left. Framed and glazed. Born in Dortmund, Plückebaum was privately tutored for art in Düsseldorf. There she was also one of the first members of the Düsseldorf Artists Association , founded in 1911. Famous for her kitten, puppy and flower motifs, Plückebaum is popular throughout Europe and America. Leading to commissions to illustrate children’s literature.
