It has full margins and visible platemark. There is some minor cockling and one small isolated spot of foxing in the centre- to the left of Rapunzel's rump (please refer to photographs). There are some grey spots in the background which do not appear to be damaging the print. General wear and tear to the frame.

Aus der Serie 347, die Picasso von März bis Oktober 1968 erschaffen hat. Im Laufe von 204 Tagen entstanden die insgesamt 347 Motive der Suite, die seinen bis ins Alter ungebrochenen, fieberhaften Schöpferdrang vor Augen stellen. Zur Durchführung des Mammutprojekts hatten die Drucker Aldo und Piero Crommelynck eigens in einer alten Backstube nahe beim Atelier des Künstlers in Mougins eine Druckerei eingerichtet. Pablo Picasso (1881 Málaga - 1973 Mougins)"Citando al Toro a Banderillas sentando en una Silla" (Auf einem Stuhl sitzender Stierkämpfer mit Banderillas beim Reizen des Stieres). Originaltitel Aquatintaradierung/Velin, 1957/59. Blatt 15 aus der Mappe "La Tauromaquia" mit insgesamt 26 Motiven. Hrsg. Gustavo Gili, Barcelona. Mit einem von Picasso entworfenen Wasserzeichen. Auflage 263. Die Mappe versteht sich als Illustration des Buchs "La Tauromachia" von José Delgado aus dem Jahr 1796. Nach dem Besuch der Ostercorrida in Arles 1957 begab sich Picasso an die Gestaltung der Motive. Mit wenigen Pinselstrichen, direkt auf der Kupferplatte arbeitend, erstellte er die Zeichnungen, die in ihrer strikten Fokussierung auf den Spannungsgehalt jeder Szene einfach und meisterhaft zugleich sind.
