Naval officers sword having etched blade, the ricasso marked J R Grant & Sons Limited, brass gothic type guard bearing serpent and anchor cartouche, wire bound fish skin grip, complete with scabbard CONDITION REPORT: Blade length 79.5cm Blade back stamped 15004 No regimental stamps only Naval crest and garter etched to the blade. Blade etching is good, some rusting to ricasso, staining to grip, dent to chape.

A diver's knife by Siebe Heinke, England:, 8 inch double edged blade signed as per title, brass hilt and black Bakelite handle, in a brass scabbard. *Note- The etching on the blade reads 'Siebe Heinke England'. This dates the knife to 1962 when Heinke was taken over by Siebe Gorman. The dual names were only used for 2 to 3 years before the Heinke name was dispensed with. * see page 107, vol 2, 'Diving Helmets and Equipment Through The Ages'.

Williams (Charles), A Peep into the Pump Room or the Zomersetshire folk in a maze, published S.W.Fores, 1818, etching with contemporary hand colouring, 280 x 380 mm, mounted, framed and glazed, together with, Dighton (Richard), John Bellingham taken at the Sessions House Old Bailey May 15th 1812, A Gentle ride from Exeter Change to Pimlico, Ireland in Scotland or a trip from Oxford to the land of Cakes, Members of the Whig Club..., Byng-Go, The Morning Chronicle, A View from Baxter's Livery Stables Cambridge [and] Shaw! what are you there?, circa 1810 - 22, together eight etchings with contemporary hand colouring, all framed and glazed, various sizes and condition The first described item shows The Pump Room at Bath, crowded with people all straining to catch a glimpse of Queen Charlotte, who sits in an arm-chair facing the water dispensing pump. She holds a large wine glass of water and clutches her stomach, exclaiming "Oh! my belly! my belly! Oh the water the water!" Leaning on the back of her chair is the Duke of Clarence, later William IV who was also visiting Bath at the same time as his mother. (9)
