The blade is richly decorated with etching, marked "Ges. Gesch." on the left side, while the right side bears the inscription "Hussaren-Regt. Landgraf Friedrich II. von Hessen-Homburg (2. Kurhess.) No. 14". This palash was intended for hussar regiment no. 14 of the German army. The pommel has a metal head and handle covered in ribbed black leather. The basket cover is decorated with the emblem of a double-headed German eagle with a heraldic shield. The blade is decorated on both sides with etched motifs, including floral ornaments and military symbolism.
