A late 18th century hand coloured etching 'The Soldier's Farewell' c.1793hand coloured gouache on laid paper, mounted,within mount 23 x 29.5 cm.Condition: laid on to board, tear running through column and dress from left margin tear running from right margin through horses leg and boys left thigh. tear running across bottom left corner margin to margin. Tear running through column watermarks top right hand corner and behind head of soldier, marginal mark bottom. Last three letters of title are retouched in pencil
