In brief, this ship escorted Atlantic and Malta envoys, landed and evacuated troops from the failed Norwegian campaign. Active in the Med and attacked Italian fleet in Toronto harbour. Fatally crippled by 2 one-man Italian explosive motor boats in Suda Bay during the battle of Crete. Remained there for 11 years until scrapped in Bari, Italy in 1952.
