A professionally built 'G' scale layout, end to end, trackwork is LGB including 5 pairs points; an interesting shunting layout, with 2 road moveable fiddle yard, very suitable for home or exhibition use, on 2 boards 120 x 60 cm each, with controllers, control panel etc, free standing trestles. Has been photographed etc for an article in Model Rail Magazine, but as yet it has not appeared (G) (Illus.). . .

Greenwood (C. & J.), Map of the County of Salop, from an Actual Survey made in the Years 1826 & 1827, pub. 2 July 1827, large uncoloured engraved map on six separate sheets with good margins, vignette view of Shrewsbury, the whole measuring approx. 1500 x 1200 mm, contained in modern purpose-made cloth slipcase with leather label. A Mc Carthy model 31 keyless fairground organ, with drum and cymbal, decorative front with exposed pipes suitable for use with a 4 inch or 6 inch scale showmans traction engine.The model was built by Mc Carthy Music of Basingstoke in Hampshire and comes with a selection of music. This organ formed part of the collection of the late Ronald Phipps of Kent. Length 150cm. Width 79cm. Height 147cm.
A 1/16th scale model of Richard Trevithicks high pressure Dredger Engine of 1806, described in detail by T D Walshaw in The Model Engineer Volume 159. No 3809. Castings by Brunell Models. The model with wooden side rod motion, single cylinder mounted on top of the cylinderical boiler, related pipework, brass drain cocks. The engine mounted on a mahogany plinth with brass description plaque and contained under glazed cover. Height 40cm. Width 28.5cm Depth 16cm.
A 2in scale model of an Articulated Clayton undertype steam wagon, built by Mr G.L.Crook of Somerset, with brazed super heated copper boiler, centre fueling shute and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include, twin cylinders with enclosed valve gear and cranks, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, single speed chain drive to rear axle with dog clutch fitted. Chassis details include worm and quadrant operated Ackerman steering, rubber tyred wheels with hub caps, working leaf springs, rear axle differential unit, copper water tank with hand feed pump, canvas covered, removable, cab and back panel. Trailer details include riveted channel section frame, working leaf springs, rubber tyred wheels with hub caps, wooden platform sides and bottom with detachable drivers feet rests. Original boiler test certificate issued by Stuart Models dated the 11th of May 1990. Working pressure 100psi.

Chassis details include worm and quadrant operated Ackerman steering, rubber tyred wheels with brass hub caps, working leaf springs, rear axle differential unit, water tank with hand feed pump, canvas covered planked cab roof with removable rear panel and other detail. The lorry is of flat bed design and finished in red livery. Boiler history: Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies Boiler test certificate No 2434 ESME Hastings Test Pressure 150 psi expired the 8th of May 1994. The lorry formed part of the collection of the late Ronald Phipps of Kent. Length 188cm. Width 71cm. Height to top of cab 84cm.
A part built 6 inch scale model of a Clayton steam wagon, to include rolling chassis on wheels with solid rubber road tyres and fitted leaf springs, water tank, boiler parts and part built engine. We would advise prospective purchasers to view this lot to asess the work to be completed themselves. To top of cab 137cm high, 102cm wide, 305cm long. No boiler history. The wagon formed part of the collection of the late Ronald Phipps of Kent.
