This classic watch, with slide rule design, is known as the ``type 42`` by collectors.

A brown varnished wooden document? box. 33cm x 22cm x 14cm. With hinged lid painted with a scene of the USS `Macon` airship flying with two bi-planes, one of which is shown in true minute scale underneath the Macon and about to dock with it. The other flies in the foreground. Underneath is the inscription `Welcome aboard! From the HTA Unit, USS `Macon``. Incorporating the badge of the HTA Unit. GC but lid is warped and does have some cracking to the joints. Picture lightly crazed, illustrated on Plate 14.

A rare German H.O. scale Marklin tinplate display model of the 1930 Deutsche Reichsbahn Schienenzeppelin (Rail Zeppelin) propeller driven train. This model, 3077 was made from 1975 to 1990. Like the Z-scale unit, it has a separate motor to power the propeller while the railcar is propelled by a conventional motor that drives the two front axles. Finished in silver with a matt black roof and orange 4 bladed propeller. GC minor wear, illustrated on Plate 4.
A fine exhibition quality/Deutsche –Reederie company (The German Zeppelin Transport Company or DZR) scale model of the Zeppelin ‘Hindenburg’ ‘D-LZ129’. A heavy cast alloy model measuring 47cm in length with ‘Hindenburg’ ‘D-LZ129’ and Third Reich markings to rear. Mounted by a single rod to ‘the world’ fixed to a heavy solid circular plinth, measuring 27cm with ‘.Zeppelin.’ ‘1937 DLZ129 Hindenburg’ in dark blue. Note: Similar models were used in the offices of the company, for example one can be seen in a period photograph of the window of the Frankfurt branch. VGC a fine item, illustrated on Plate 5.
