MPH Models - # 1238 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of an Allard J2 as raced at Le Mans in 1950 by Sydney Allard and Tom Cole. Tim Dyke made 271 separate modifications to the original model kit to create this ultra detailed car. His work included changing the number of bonnet louvres to the correct amount and re profiling all of them, creating a new detailed dashboard, casting new side lamps and fitting them with 1.5 mm lenses and much more. This car is Mint and comes in a Very Good plain white box with a printed history of the car, a list of the works carried out, a signed certificate, a separate tool box to sit on the passenger seat and a plaque with the cars details on. Conrad - Cursor - A collection of trucks including # 4113 MAN F2000 truck and trailer in 1:50 scale, # 4120 MAN articulated box lorry, # 4173 MAN VW 8.136 van. The Cursor Mercedes truck is missing from its box but it has two trailers in it. The models have all been on display and have some small marks on them, one of the Cursor trailers has a damaged wheel and one truck has no mirrors. The boxes are Poor to Fair with storage wear. Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 721 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model DB Panhard Le Mans car from 1961. This car number 45 driven by Moynet / Vidilles with its 848 cc air cooled engine was the lightest car in the race weighing just 440 kgs. Tim Dyke made 87 detail improvements to the original Provence Moulage kit to create this model, the changes include internal bulkheads fitting and the dash being remade to have the correct number of holes in the correct diameter and panel lines being filled in and re scribed in the correct places. The attention to detail is a joy. This model by Tim Dyke has had a host of upgrades including new accurately scaled bonnet straps, new gear lever and handbrake levers made and the steering wheel spokes drilled out with decreasing diameter holes. Provence Moulage, MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed Provence Moulage / MPH Models #1135 Cunningham C4R Le Mans 1954 W.Spear / S.Johnstone Finished 3rd at 98.64 mph. This 1:43 scale resin and alloy kit was modified in July 1997 by Tim Dyke, and is numbered 15 of 25 produced by the craftsman, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. In the legendary colour scheme of white with two blue stripes this tremendous looking model appears to be in Mint condition and features the RN2 as well as a host of 195 special features / modifications, which along with the history of the actual car, are detailed within an 8 page document. Special features include "Axles - relocated to the centre of the wheel arches"; "Grille - re shaped"; "Fuel filler - removed and new filler specially cast in pewter" and much more - the detailing on the model is so meticulous that a lot can only be seen under close scrutiny. The baseplate is marked 'Made in France Provence Moulage Cunningham C4R Maquette P.Cornu' and is branded with the MPH logo. The model is housed in a Mint plain cardboard box branded with MPH logos, and also contains a photo etched plaque enclosed in a clear plastic snap bag. This model by Tim Dykes was based on the car belonging to his father in law and he made 31 modifications and improvements to the original base to create this including remodelling the rear wing line, re finishing and re plating the bumpers and drilling the rear wings to take individual light lenses. Vroom - MPH Models - # 572 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Bizzarini Iso Grifo A3C Le Mans 1964 as driven by Edgar Berney and Pierre Noblet. The original Vroom model went through 109 detail improvements by Tim Dyke to achieve the quality shown here including rear windscreen frame created and foil covered, pin marked rivet detail to the bonnet, roof, doors and sills, approx 1000 in total and specially turned aluminium wheels fitted. MPH - # 1364 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of an OSCA MT4 Coupe as driven in th 1953 Le Mans by Mario Damonte and Pierre Louis Dreyfus. This model is mounted on a cobbled street plinth with an etched plaque. Tim Dyke made 188 improvements to this model after much research to make it as accurate as possible, there is a sticker on the box which informs that there are 4 wiper bosses on the car but only three wipers fitted as that is how the actual car ran, this demonstrates the level of detail achieved. Amongst those 188 improvements are no. 51 two front suspension wishbones cast in pewter and no. 72 fuel tank cast in resin and foil covered. This car appears Mint and comes in a Very Good plain white box with a printed history of the model, a list of the improvements and a signed card to show that it is number 19 of the run of 25 cars made in March 2003. Provence Moulage, MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed Provence Moulage / MPH Models #247 Lotus XI Index Winner Le Mans 1957. The Provence Moulage model was modified by Tim Dyke in 1989 and is numbered 7 of a Limited Edition run of 20 models. The meticulously detailed 1:43 scale resin model finished in green with RN55 appears to be in Mint condition and comes with comes with certificate / card signed by the modeler Tim Dyke. Housed within a Mint plain white cardboard box with Provence Moulage branding with MPH labeling. The model comes with a leaflet detailing the history of the 1957 Le Mans winner, plus a sheet of general notes on the care of the rein model, together with a sheet of 14 modifications to the model. Modifications include "Bulbs fitted to headlights"; "Wiper blades - painted"; "Dash board - Ignition and light switches painted" and so on - the level of detail is phenomenal. Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 261 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of the A.C. Ace Bristol 2 litre which won its class at Le Mans 1959 driven by Ted Whiteway and Jack Turner. This model was based on a Provence Moulage kit and given 32 detail improvements to make this car a very accurate representation of the road car that Ken Rudd had borrowed from an enthusiastic A.C. owner called Mrs Waugh for that years race. The Tim Dyke improvements include replacing the original dashboard for a new casting with photo etched dials, and painting the car in the correct Jewellescent Mist Green which was provided by the company that painted the original car in 1953.
