An antique 18ct gold, enamel, pearl, ruby and garnet coiled snake brooch early 20th century, the 18ct gold snake with engraved `scale` decoration, the head set with a natural pearl and blue enamel decoration, ruby cabochon eyes and a cabochon garnet and seed pearl drop, 2¾in. A rare George II oak cased longcase wedding clock of unusually small proportions, by William Porthouse of Penrith, the square brass dial signed with married couple`s names, `Willm & Ann White 1747`, with penny moon, silver Roman chapter ring decorated with fleur-de-lys, gilt cherub spandrels, lunar scale and date apertures, 30 hour movement striking on the hours on a single bell, the case with flat hood with stepped ogee moulded pediment, over a square door flanked by turned fruitwood pillars, the trunk with ogee arched door, on a plain base, 72in.
