An important 18th Century Indo-Dutch ebony Armchair, of small scale with elaborately carved overall decoration, the back rail with shaped cresting above spiral turned spindles, shaped arms with spiral twist turned supports, the drop in seat (probably cane) lacking, with shaped aprons, on turned legs jointed by carved stretchers, on bun feet, approx. 75cms high x 61cms wide x 58.5cms deep (29 1/2" x 24" x 23").
