A good French 5-piece silver-plated composite tea and coffee set set, late 19th/early 20th century, ovoid bodies on lotus and lion's paw feet, the spouts with acanthus decorated and scale-tipped spouts, the Empire-style coffee pot with spout terminating in an eagle's head and with ebonised wood handle. The teapot, milk jug and one coffee/hot water jug match and the covered sugar bowl and Empire style coffee pot match but they are all similar enough that they sit well together as a composite set. Good condition.
