A silver ring formed as a double-coiled serpent with scale detailing to the body, reversed lozengiform head with pellet eyes. 3.42 grams, 20.02mm overall, 17.42 x 15.44mm internal diameter (approximate size British I 1/2, USA 4 3/4, Europe 8.63, Japan 8) (3/4"). From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980. [No Reserve] Fine condition.

A gold finger ring formed as a D-section serpent with loop to the tail, scale detailing, piriform head with detailing and lateral pellet eyes. 7.97 grams, 18.64mm overall, 13.59mm internal diameter (approximate size British E, USA 2, Europe 2.41, Japan 2) (3/4"). From an old European collection; acquired in Munich in the 1970s. Very fine condition.

Roman Military Dress, Strood, 2009 for discussion. 55 grams, 67mm (2 5/8"). Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s. Very fine condition.
Four 18th century Worcester coffee cups: A coffee cup painted in Japanese colours with the 'Kempthorne' pattern, square or fret mark to base; a coffee cup decorated with a Manchu Chinese street vendor beside a Chinese family to one side and a Chinese boy looking at a Chinese boy in a window to the other; a Chinese famille rose floral decorated cup decorated in the 'Rich Kakiemon' style on a blue scale ground, underglaze blue square or fret mark to base to/w a Worcester 'Queen Charlotte' pattern teacup, underglaze blue square or fret mark, and a Worcester sparrow beak jug painted with a Chinoiserie famille rose spray of flowers and sprigs, 9 cm high (6)Small hairline crack in rim of Kakiemon cup otherwise no other chips or cracks.
