A silver seal matrix comprising a flat-section loop handle with scale detailing, fish-head finials; articulating hinge and baluster handle; plano-convex body with vertical facets and pellets; intaglio motif within a circular border, regardant dove(?) with pellets to the chest. 24 grams, 45mm (1 3/4"). From an old European collection; acquired in Munich in the 1970s. Very fine condition.
