Converted to 3-Rail running, with sprung 3-rail centre pickups. Model is dusty in places from being used and stored on a layout.
William Allchin 1.5 Inch Scale Agricultural 'Royal Chester' Traction Engine. Comes with some loose parts, which will require refitting (pictured). A Mercedes Benz 300SLR Junior with Stirling Moss signature,'half scale' homage to the car driven to overall victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia road race by Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson. Powered by 48cc engine, coupled to a centrifugal clutch driving the rear wheels, up to a top speed of 15 mph. Braking is by a single disc with a mechanical piston calliper. An evolution of an existing design by the builder, this 300 SLR is one of only three examples that features a plaque signed by Stirling Moss. Offered with a Certificate of Authenticity and a photograph of the signing. This vehicle should be suitable for most children aged between five and nine years old. Offered in as-new condition, with bespoke powder-coated steel chassis with moulded composite glass-reinforced plastic bodywork finished in 'Silver-Arrows' paintwork and red '722' livery. The bonnet and boot lid are both functional, and there are working headlights. It rides on 12-inch steel wheels with pneumatic tyres, finished with chromed knock-off spinners. The cabin is a great tribute to the original car, with hand-stitched dark blue leather and tartan cloth panels on the seats. The floor is trimmed with grey carpet, and the edges and side panels are upholstered with diamond-quilted leather. Ahead of the driver is a four-spoke polished aluminium steering wheel, as well as a plastic aero screen. Overall 210cm long, 80cm wide. A Porsche 917 Junior Child's car,fully working car for children/adults to drive and enjoy, apparently new and unused condition, built to 70% scale, the 917 offered here is powered by a key start, 9 bhp 230 cc engine. It is capable of speeds of up to 28 mph, although the speed can be restricted if desired. There is rack-and-pinion steering, front spring suspension and hydraulic brakes, 2-1 reduction gearbox with a wet clutch, features full-size car engineering, simply scaled down.The chassis is a powder-coated lightweight tubular construction. The bodywork is moulded fibreglass that is a faithful tribute to the iconic 917 'Kurzheck' Porsche, with 10-inch wheels and pneumatic tyres.The interior is finished with bare aluminium panels, and there is a mini bucket seat for the driver. A quick-release steering wheel is fitted, as well as working headlights and rear cooling fan, just like its full scale compadre. The overall dimensions are 2.6 metres in length and 1.6 metres in width.This 917 will suit drivers from as young as five years old up-to fully grown adults with the child's seat removed. It also has a removable roof section that allows taller drivers to get behind the wheel.Top Gear magazine recently said it 'might just be the greatest toy car ever built'. A 1959 Aston Martin DBR2 Childs motorised car,engine number: M6A-340500025, chassis number: 59 1959 03, almond green with cinnamon leather seats, a half-scale recreation of an Aston Martin DBR2 with aluminium body work which comes complete with an opening boot and bonnet, fully working lights, start-up sound card, a buff log book and 1959 tax disc. This is fitted to a bespoke steel tube chassis powder coated in grey.
