All kits appear unstarted, some being sealed. Great collection.

All appear mint in their original boxes.
20th century Marine Sextant, black crackle frame with brass scale arc inscribed Cooke Hull, No.2969, 6.5in radius reading to 10in, with index and horizon mirrors, shades and detachable eyepiece, in fitted travel case with certificate dated 28/8/68, with The Mariners' Highway Code, VHF Telephony, P806 compass in case, potractor, ruler, Jakarflex flexible rule and two photos. Provenance: The vendors husband was born in 1947, after Marine College in South Shields he trained in Plymouth and served with Shell Tankers from 1964-1976. His last ship was Hemitrochus and he left service as 2nd Officer (Deck)
Large wooden scale model of the Steam fishing Trawler 'Joseph & Sarah Miles' LO.175, L120cm, W28cm, H48cm, Built in 1895 the Joseph & Sarah Miles was a Mission Shjp which as part of a Fleet would not fish on a Sunday to enable any Religious crew to attend service. On 12th October 1904 the Gamecock Fleet was fishing Dogger Bank when the Russian Baltic Fleet mistook them for the Japanese Navy and Fired on them. The S.T.Crane was sunk, the injured and survivors were transferred to Joseph & Sarah Miles.
Large scale model of the Blue Star cargo ship Afric Star, built from Model Maker Plans 1255, on wooden stand, L155cm, H40cm: Afric Star of Blue Star line fleet was built in Middlesbrough, by the Smith's Dock Company Ltd. and completed in 1975. She measured 155.81' long' and was an "A"-Class refrigerated five hatch cargo ship.
Large scale model of the motor Tug Turmoil, in OTS colours, on wooden stand, L135cm, W26cm, H66cm. Built 1945 the Turmoil was sent to the rescue of the Flying Enterprise in 1952. The Captain had refused to leave the ship, the vessel eventually sank under tow to Falmouth. Turmoil was scrapped in 1986.
