A VERY RARE MASSIVE PAINTED STUCCO HEAD OF GUANYINYuan/early Ming DynastyThe head boldly modelled as the powerful deity and brightly coloured, wearing an elaborate five-peaked Buddhist tiara set with large flowerheads flanking a small seated Buddha on the central peak, the tiara heavily gilt overall, the dark-blue hair grooved in tight loops sweeping symmetrically across her forehead and around the back of her head, her complexion and ear lobes brick-red, her small pursed lips scarlet, the face with an impassive expression and the eyes cast meditatively downwards, metal stand.67cm (26 3/4in) high, with stand 79cm (31in) high. PORTMEIRION POTTERY LIMITED EDITION REPLICA OF THE F.A. CUP, a scale replica of the Football Association Challenge Cup, modelled by Fred Hackney of Brunswick Ceramics Services, Stoke-on-Trent, with certificate No.19 of 500, to commemorate the 1980 F.A.Cup final between West Ham United and Arsenal, played at Wembley on May 10th 1980, West Ham won the cup by one goal to nil, separate base and cover, platinum lustre glaze with bronze coloured glaze internally, height 66cm (Note: after lengthy contract negotiations Portmeirion were given permission by F.A. Secretary Ted Croker to produce these replicas in 1979, the modeller Fred Hackney inspected the trophy at Highbury, Arsenal (who were holders at the time), unfortunately the production costs including the use of a platinum glaze proved prohibitive to the manufacturer and the replica never went into full commercial production, it is estimated that less and two hundred were produced before the project was abandoned in 1980) (condition: some nibbles on the inner rim of lid and base, some of lustre rubbed and scratched especially on the top side of the bottom segment)

HUW WILLIAMS (AKA THE HORSE PAINTER) (b. 1968 - ), JUMPING HORSE oil on canvas, signed 100.5cm x 180.5cm Unframed, as intended. Note: Huw Williams (The Horse Painter) is a fine artist whose work is dominated by the horse, specifically stunning, striking stallions showing their power and movement. c1960 Tri-ang tinplate, large-scale London Transport Routemaster double-deck MODEL BUS from the iconic series introduced in 1957. On route 93 to Putney Bdg Stn. This is a 2nd-series issue (1960-63) with regular tyres, axles and wheel-nuts. An exceptionally good example, with original box, barely play-worn and with only minor blemishes, good decals and working bell. Measures 23" (58cm) long. Owned by the vendor from new. [1]
