A CMC Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa 1958 Le Mans. ‘Lucybelle II’, in white with 2 blue central stripes (USA racing colours). RN 22. With Prancing Horse insignia to front wings, plus stars & stripes to wing on drivers side. Wire wheels with spinner centre nuts, cockpit detail, two auxiliary driving lights and four exhaust pipes. Boxed, with packing, some wear. Vehicle Mint. See Plate 2 “The Ford Calendar Collection”. From the late 1980’s until 2004. Each year a Calendar was produced with a certain theme and one vehicle was chosen to become a limited edition model. The collection comprises 17 models, 7 are being offered in this Auction. Others will be offered in a forthcoming sale. They are made of pewter and are to 1/32nd scale.
A large scale model of the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Cadiz A painstakingly built 1:100 scale model of the 2300 ton Battle Class destroyer commissioned in 1946 into the 5th Destroyer Flotilla, Home Fleet. Measuring 117 cm in overall length and probably of wood, the model proudly features the ship’s 2 dual 4.5"/112mm guns and is supported by considerable detail of her smaller Bofors and other armaments, superstructure and extensive upper deck features. She flies an easily replaceable crude Jack and White Ensign, her pennant number D79 being unusually in white. The layered hull construction is sound, if a little conspicuous, the model giving an overall most pleasing appearance. On a large, stout wooden base. GC to VGC See Plate 3

An example painted in ‘Fred Watson Amusements’ red and yellow livery. 38cm overall length with planked canopy attached by turned brass supports front and rear, chain steering to metal spoked wheels with rubber tyre additions. detachable chimney, brass and steel parts/cogs, flywheel with rubber band to generator, electric generator to front of boiler. A Regency figured mahogany bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the painted circular dial with Roman numerals, strike/silent indicator and inscribed `Yonge & Son, Strand, London`, the back plate with engraved foliate border, the case with stepped surmount above a pair of gilt brass fruit basket and loose ring handles and pierced scale fret panels, the front with brass edged recessed corner panels, on a rectangular base and brass ball feet, height approx 36cm, together with pendulum, winder and case key.
A Regency mahogany and brass bracket clock, the eight day triple fusee movement with verge escapement striking hours on a large bell and chiming quarters on ten bells with pull repeat, the painted break arch dial with subsidiary chime/silent indicator to arch above Roman numerals and inscribed `Barrauds, Cornhill, London`, the engraved back plate similarly inscribed, the pagoda top case with ball finials and scale fretted frieze above a pair of similarly fretted side panels and foliate cast carrying handles flanked by a pair of stop-fluted columns, the rectangular base with boxwood line inlaid decoration above a brass bound apron and cast paw feet, height approx 70cm, together with case key and later winding key (minor faults).
