Provence Moulage, MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed Provence Moulage / MPH Models #1022 Lotus Elite Le Mans 1963 Wagstaff / Ferguson Class 1st - Overall 10th 2256.94 miles at 94.05mph. This 1:43 scale resin model is Limited Edition numbered 2 of 25 models modified by Tim Dyke in March 1996 . Finished in white with green stripe and RN39, the highly detailed model appears in Mint condition, and also comes with hand signed Limited Edition certificate / card. To the base the model is marked 'Made in France Provence Moulage' complete with photo etched plaque stating 'Lotus Elite Le Mans 1963'. Another plaque comes in a clear plastic snap bag. The documentation that comes with the exquisite model tells of the history behind the actual vehicles and outlines the 188 special features made by Tim Dyke. Modifications include "Sidelights - moulded units removed and body drilled to accept Marsh Models turned / chromed units fitted"; "Exhaust - none in kit, scratch built system cast in pewter" and much much more. This replica has been produced by Tim Dyke with a range of changes and improvements over the standard model including fitting separate lenses to the moulded front side lights, wheel detail drilled out and track reduced to correct and the exhaust pipe hollowed out. The chrome front grill detail has become detached from this model, it appears otherwise Mint in a Very Good blue and white Provence Moulage box with a printed history and a list of work carried out and an etched plaque with the cars details on. The Limited Edition 1:43 scale hand crafted model created in 2004 is numbered 11 of 25 produced. Finished in pale blue with RN19 the highly detailed model comes with certificate / card signed by the modeler Tim Dyke, and appears to be in Mint condition. The model is fixed onto a resin plinth which has a cobbled / paved effect with photo etched plaque, and is housed within a Mint plain white cardboard box with MPH Model branding. The model comes with an 8 page A5 size booklet which outlines the history behind the Gordini car, and outlines over 200 of the models specifications which include such things as "bonnet straps - cast in in units removed"; "ride height raised"; "Body Excavated to fit both door panels", and many more. With red body with RN26 the stunningly detailed miniature of the award winning car, comes with certificate / card signed by the modeler Tim Dyke, and appears to be in Mint condition. The model is fixed onto a resin plinth which has a cobbled effect (numbered to underside) with photo etched plaque, and is housed within a Mint plain white cardboard box with MPH Model branding. Created in September 1992 by the late Tim Dyke this Limited Edition resin and alloy 1:43 scale model is numbered 15 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. Finished in suede green with RN15, the model appears to be in Mint condition but has a detached aero-screen - this is present and contained in a clear plastic snap bag. This finely detailed model comes with documentation outlining both the modifications made to the model as well as some history behind the actual vehicle. The model features 145 special features / modifications such as "Axles - locations altered to correct ride height"; "Bonnet Straps - thickness reduced, thong ends re-shaped, buckle thinned and re-defined"; "Doors - incorrect panel line filled in" and many more. There is a list of 102 detail changes and improvements made which include; no. 51 gear lever cut from stainless steel pin, no. 69 original kit spot lamps discarded and replaced with Meri lenses, no. 99 over sized windscreen wipers cut down and painted. The detail has to be seen to be appreciated if your eyes are good enough ! The car appears in Mint condition in the original Starter branded red and white box which is in excellent condition with a detailed list of work carried out, a printed history of the car and a signed card to show that this is number 17 of the run of 25 cars made in October 1991. Numbered 5 of 25 Limited Edition models produced, the highly detailed model finished in bright red with RN2, comes with hand signed certificate / card, along with documentation concerning the history of the actual car, plus a comprehensive list of the 188 MPH specifications. The extraordinary modifications include "Axles - Kit items discarded, fabricated from aluminium tube with SMTS brass stubs"; "Brake Lights - removed from moulding replaced with Meri lenses"; "Doors - interior panel lines scribed in" and so on.
