A Worcester blue scale ground saucer dish, circa 1770, 19cm diameter and a blue ground shell-shaped dessert dish, 19.5cm diameter, both painted flowers/Provenance: From the collection of Sir Roy Strong and his late wife Dr Julia Trevelyan Oman, Lady Strong CBE CONDITION REPORT: The saucer-dish with a chip and a tiny nick to the front rim. Some glaze scratching around the well. The shell dish in good condition - no damages or restoration. Light wear to glaze and a hint of stacking rubbing to gilding in well.
Edwardian silver gilt replica of "The Tudor Cup", in the form of a standing cup with font-shaped bowl, chased with scale panels below a Latin inscription in Lombardic letters, reading "Benedictus Deus im Dona Suis Ama" (on the beatic vision of God", on a raised conicle foot with fluted decoration and border chased with Oak leaves (Chester 1903).
