AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY BRACKET CLOCK by Thomas Dodson, Beeston (Leeds), having a gilt pineapple finial on the stepped and moulded top, a convex dial painted with Roman hours and maker's name and convex glass within gilt-edged panels, the sides having fish-scale grills, cornucopia moulded backplates and ring handles, raised on a plinth base with ball feet, the brass striking movement inscribed 'Thomas Dodson Beeston'. 49cm(h) x 28.5cm(w) x 18cm(w) CONDITION: Some veneer and moulding losses, wear, flaking and crazing to dial.
