§ Jonathan Huxley (British, b.1965) Movement in blue and yellow; and Movement in black and white mixed media (2) 50 x 66cm (20 x 26in) Jonathan Huxley trained at Berkshire College of Art between 1985 and 1986 and Nottingham Trent in 1989. He studied for a Diploma in Fine Art at the Royal Academy of Art between 1989 and 1992 and was awarded the Royal Academy Young Masters Prize. Crane Kalman Gallery first exhibited Huxley’s work in 1992 and his paintings have featured frequently in the gallery ever since. In 1992 Huxley was awarded the RA Young Masters Prize and was the subject of the Channel 4 documentary "Behind the Eye". In 1993 Huxley was commissioned to paint a large scale mural by Bermondsey Council. Huxley won the award for the most popular painting at the Royal College of Art show in 1997. Condition appears fine.
