A pair of Royal Worcester blue-scale-ground plates in the 18th century style, painted with a central bouquet within shaped floral panels, 22.5cm diameter, printed puce marks, date code for 1906; a Royal Worcester amphora vases group, the four conjoined vases painted with heather, 14.5cm high, printed green mark, date letter for 1879 (some rubbing to the gilding of the handles); and a Grainger’s Worcester wall pocket, modelled as a quiver and partially decorated in pink enamel and gilt, 19.5cm high, impressed mark, circa 1880.
A selection of Samson porcelain, comprising; a Worcester-style blue-scale ground mask jug painted with exotic birds, 18cm high, blue fret square mark; a gilt-metal-mounted octagonal bowl moulded in relief with oriental flowers and a mythical beast, 25cm wide, blue cross mark; and a pair of oviform hexagonal section vases and covers painted with exotic birds, 34cm high, gold anchor marks (chips and old repairs to cover).
An engraved facet-stemmed wine glass, the round funnel bowl decorated with a chinoiserie band with scale-cut lower section, supported on a centrally knopped stem cut with diamonds, on a conical foot, 15.5cm high, circa 1790 (foot chipped, broken and repaired). Provenance: Formerly Anthony Waugh Collection, Sothebys, 28th April 1980, lot 193 and the Royal Briarly Collection, Sothebys, 3rd March 1998, lot 51 and Honeybourne Museum label no.81.
