Bugatti Type 35 by Art Collection Auto. A fine scale-model of the famous 1924 Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix racing car, 1/8 scale model of the legendary design by Ettore Bugatti which won the French Grand Prix at Lyon in 1924, stamped JPF and Art Collection Auto to the underneath, approx 465 mms l x 187mm x 142 mm h, each car is hand-assembled finely finished and housed in a glass case, complete with the original factory folder relating to the build of the model and posters of the original racing Bugatti. Note: the glass case has a fine crack to the base.

Featured in this lot we have a large Fairbanks brass balance beam sliding scale originating from the early 1900's. The scale displays brass construction with iron hardware. The scale shows two sliding weights with the top bar marked up to 1000 pounds and the lower bar marked to 2000 pounds. The scale is marked across the side reading "Fairbanks U.P.R.R." towards the end with "U.P.R.R." near the fulcrum. The piece comes with a set of iron weights and hooked platform for counter balancing. The piece shows good condition overall with some rust and light wear. The scale measures 44 1/2" wide by 11 1/2" tall.
Included in this lot we have a Franklin Mint 1:8 1886 Benz Scale Model. The model is designed in a 1 to 8 scale of the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagon designed by Karl Benz and is considered to be one of the first automobile. The model is a precision die cast model and hand assembled showing great quality. The model shows wonderful details and a great condition. The model shows an accurate early combustion engine across the back. The piece shows a tag across the back with information. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear. The model measures 7" wide by 12 1/2" long and 7 3/4" tall.
For your consideration is this Chatillon cylinder hanging scale constructed from brass circa 1912. The scale reads Chatillon N.Y Pat Feb. 13, 1912 with a C in a diamond Made in U.S.A. The condition of this brass scale is good with no obvious signs of damage to the scale and shows some patina to the hooks of the scale. The measurements of this scale are 6" from hook to hook and 3/4".
A rare nautical G.M. Balance, c. 1900, Stanley of London, for the S.S. Ayrshire, in a mahogany fitted case with ivorine scale with brass mounts inscribed "Water in Boilers" and "Anchors and Cables" verso, beneath a spirit level and an ivorine plaque "Heights above Top of Keel at Different Positions Fore & Aft..." etc. , the case bearing a label inscribed "No. 26". Case 11cm by 73cm by 15cm. Note: the S.S. Ayrshire was built on the Tyne and launched in 1903 for Scottish Shire Lines. It operated between the UK and Australia and sank of the coast of India in 1926.

A wooden propeller from a Martinsyde F4 Buzzard biplane, circa 1918,twin bladed laminated wood, central hub with 4 sections of laminate removed, remains of markings read '******O Suiza' and partially legible 'Martinsyde F4', tips of blades and edges with some loss, some worming, repair and loss to hub, 267cm diameter. Footnotes:The Martinsyde F.4 Buzzard was developed as a powerful and fast biplane fighter for the Royal Air Force, but the end of the First World War led to the abandonment of large-scale production. Fewer than 400 were eventually produced, with many exported.
