CONDITION REPORT: Mild wear to the boxes, all with certificate, mirrors attached to one , the others have mirrors in packets otherwise good condition.
A "Thomlinson's Equivalent Paper Slide Scale" boxwood fronted slide rule, length 58.5cm, a brass tipped boxed slide rule inscribed "Buss Maker, 48 Hatton Garden, London", length 63cm and a further boxwood and brass capped slide rule inscribed "Inverted Line, Dring & Fage Makers, Tooley St, London", length 62.5cm (3).
A mahogany cased boxwood alidade with twin hinged sighting arms and inscribed "Scale 6 inches = 1 mile in yards, scale 8 inches = 1 mile in yards", length 31cm, two simple timber merchant's measuring rules, one by Dring & Fage of 145 Strand London measuring 18" and one stamped "Langley", measuring 12" and a boxwood 5ft hinged rule by J. Rabone & Sons of Birmingham, no.1610 (4).
