Autograph envelope signed, with her initial M to the lower left corner, addressed to Alfred Cox (Furniture) Ltd in Huntingdon. Post marked at Kensington, 4th May 1966, and with the printed monogram of Princess Margaret to the verso. Together with a second Autograph envelope signed by Princess Margaret, again with her initial M to the lower left corner, addressed to B. J. Cox in St. Ives, Huntingdon. Post marked at Kensington, 23rd December 1967, and with the printed monogram of Princess Margaret to the verso. Also including Earl of Snowdon (1930-2017) English Photographer, husband of Princess Margaret 1960-78. Autograph note, unsigned, one page, 4to, n.p., n.d., to the furniture makers Alfred Cox, on stationery bearing the bold printed heading Urgent Messages from Lord Snowdon. The note reads, in full, 'Provided Mr Cox copies the other cupboard in every detail, scale, proportion & design of every moulding correctly so that it is indistinguishable to the minutest scrutiny of the beadiest eye it will be alright'. HIMMLER HEINRICH: (1900-1945) Nazi German Politician, Reichsfuhrer of the SS. D.S., H. Himmler, two pages, 4to, Berlin, 4th April 1938, to the Reich Governor - land government in Vienna. The partially printed document, in German, informs of the regulations of the Reich Salary Law for the integration of the Austrian police into the Reich Police, stating, in part, 'The transfer into the Reich's pay scale extends to the former federal officials of the civil service, the security services, the criminal investigation service and the officials of the economic service… For the heads of the former Federal Police officers (police presidents etc.), a special verification must be filled in, indicating the service, the number of inhabitants in the police district where they are located and the larger industrial enterprises with the number of worker… A completed statement from the Bavarian Ministry of State for the police, which I would like returned, can serve as a guideline for the preparation of the certificates.' Himmler has countersigned the document to the conclusion beneath the signature of an official from the Ministry of the Interior. Two official hand stamps of the Riechsfuhrer-SS appear above and below Himmler's signature, one very slightly affecting the signature. Some very minor surface creasing and light age wear, otherwise about VG  The present document was produced as a direct result of the Anschluss of 12th March 1938, being the annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany, the process of unification and the forming a Greater Germany.

•IVOR ROBERTS-JONES (1916-1996) Sir Winston Churchill a bronze maquette for the monument in Parliament Square, an unnumbered prototype with the foundry stamp, signed "Meridian Bronze, London", with an attractive mid-brown patina, 51cm high, on a square white stone base inscribed "Churchill" (62cm high overall)This iconic maquette is a reduction of the large scale sculpture of Sir Winston Churchill by Roberts-Jones which stands in Parliament Square having been commissioned in 1971. The sculptor's first important commission came from Lord Beaverbrook in 1961 for a bust of Somerset Maugham. Roberts-Jones success and the public acclaim that his statues engendered led to his election as an associate of The Royal Academy.Sir Edward du Cann was elected to Parliament on St. Valentine's Day 1956. He recalled a number of acquaintances with the great man and recalled sharing a public platform with him during the 1951 General Election. In that year he was the Tory candidate for West Walthamstow. The Sitting MP was Clement Atlee, Prime Minister and Leader of the Labour Party. Winston came to speak for John Harvey, the Tory candidate for Walthamstow East and former Chairman of WSC's Young Conservative's in his Epping constituency.Provenance: The Estate of the late Sir Edward du Cann KBE (1924-2017)

Fine quality mahogany cased Chippendale revival dwarf longcase clock, the 7'' break arched brass dial having a silvered chapter ring with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and inner quarter hour track framing a matted centre with oval cartouche inscribed James Drury London, over ringed winding arbours, within winged cherub mask spandrels, the arch with silvered lunar calendar crescent over rolling moon phase painted with a ship and a windmill, the knopped three pillar movement striking on a bell, with 4.5'' back plate, the case with urn finial and flowerhead rosettes over swan neck pediment, foliate scroll frieze and fluted Corinthian hood columns, the moulded long trunk door between conforming quadrant columns on canted base and ogee bracket feet, 143.5cm high, sold with two period lead weights and proportionally small pendulum, part 18th Century Condition: Dial in good order, movement appears original and is to scale, no packing beneath seatboard, case is of good quality and condition incorporating some period timbers, sold with two period lead weights, proportionally small pendulum, key and winder.
