* HUW WILLIAMS, (AKA THE HORSE PAINTER) (b. 1968 - ), SILVER HORSE oil on canvas, signed 151cm x 151cm (approx 60 x 60 inches) Unframed, as intended. Note: Huw Williams (The Horse Painter) is a fine artist whose work is dominated by the horse, specifically stunning, striking stallions showing their power and movement. From his Perthshire studio Huw produces works on a large scale, ranging from 5ft to 12ft, always in oil on canvas. Typically any individual piece can take from four to eight weeks to complete. His work hangs in the homes of many well-known private clients and prestigious corporate collections Worldwide. A 3" scale Marshall & Sons of Gainsborough field traction engine finished in green and lined with yellow and red and brass banded detailing, fitted with red and yellow spoked field wheels, with easy access to blackhead controls of usual specification, to include hand operated forward and reverse controls, various taps and gauges, sight glasses, and pressure gauge, fitted with Worm link hand operated chain steering, with hand operated ashpan riddle, free running example which has been very well maintained and lubricated, fitted with Stephensons valve gear, Ramsbottom safety valves, lubricator and displacement lubricator, with large slightly spoked flywheel and counter smaller flywheel, extra detailing has been added to include the Marshall & Sons logo to boiler sides, and nicely detailed headlamps, free running example, would benefit from cleaning, full length 51", also supplied with a quantity of Southern Federation of Model Engineer Society certificates and paperworkCondition: No available up to date boiler certificate. Overall a free running example, that hasn’t been steamed for approx. 10 years.
