A SCALE MODEL OF A 3.7 ANTI AIRCRAFT MARK II C GUN, presented by Molins Machine Company Ltd, to General Sir Frederick A. Pile B.T, G.C.B., D.S.O., M.C., 1945, on rail tracks, upon an oak base (part of a cabinet), Sir Frederick A. Pile was responsible for inventing the mobility system for this gun. See also Lot 173 which is understood to be a panel from the actual gun.
A 17c antique map dedicated and presented by Captain Greenvile Collins hydrographer to the King, the the Hon. Sir Ralph Delaval, Vice Admiral of the Red. This map of the East and South Coast of England and the English Channel, drawn to a scale of 20 English Leagues and the North Eastern coast of Holland and indicating the Well Banck, White Water and Broad Fourteens, framed and glazed, 8.75in x 23.5in.
A mid 19c tulip top wheel barometer, the 8in silvered dial signed Mansfield, Shaftsbury. The case is rosewood, inlaid with mother of pearl foliage designs and having a tulip shaped top and base. The trunk has a mercury Fahrenheit thermometer mounted on it with silvered scale and glazed front and the barometer is 38in tall overall.
Michael Schumacher - retired German Formula One / F1 racing driver - a rare autographed replica miniature racing helmet (1/18 scale, believed). Signed by Schumacher in black ink to one side. The helmet has been impressively and professionally framed alongside images of Schumacher, and details can be found to a metal plaque. Rare and impressive motor racing item. With certificate.
