MPH Models - # 822 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of the Elva BMW GT 160 as raced at Le Mans in 1965 by Richard Wrottesley and Tony Lanfranchi. This model has had over 120 modifications made by Tim Dyke to create this level of detail seen here. Modifications include adding pewter mirrors and door handles, turned aluminium wheels and Rolls Royce Peacock Blue paint. This is a rare model being number 2 of only 25 made of a rare car with only 3 originals ever produced. There is no certificate with this. The English Electric Canberra B2/6 has been attached to its stand so no longer fits in its box properly and one of the wing tips is detached but does not appear damaged. Also a Gloster Javelin in RAF livery which has had its landing gear glued in place so no longer fits in its box. Its canopy and missiles have become detached but do not appear damaged. Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 1076 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of the Aston Martin P 215 as driven at Le Mans by Phill Hill and Lucien Bianchi. Tim Dyke carried out 194 modifications to the original kit to create this beautiful model including extending the nose and tail sections, lowering the bonnet profile and creating a completely new detailed dashboard. This is a very impressive model and appears Mint in a Very Good plain white box with a printed history and list of works carried out, also an etched plaque and a signed certificate to show this is number 6 of the series of 25 cars.
Hobby Master - Oxford - 3 x boxed 1:72 scale military aircraft, McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II Plus, it has been out on display and has a piece missing from its left wing which does not appear to be in the bag of parts in the box which is Poor # HA2611. A limited edition McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II number 683 of only 1000 produced for the UK only, it has had its landing gear glued in place and no longer fits in its box, one wheel has broken off and there is some excess glue on the underside # HA1920. Provence Moulage - # 409 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of the Alfa Romeo 6 C 3000 CM Mille Miglia car from 1953 as driven by Juan Manuel Fangio and Consalvo Sanesi. This model was given 35 detail improvements by Tim Dyke including replacing the steering wheel with a new laminated detailed item, removing the original moulded in sidelights and drilling the body to accept new bezels and lenses and making brake drums for the front wheels. This car appears Mint and comes in a Very Good blue and white Provence Moulage box with a printed history, a list of the works carried out, an etched plaque with the car details and a signed card to show this is number 11 of only 20 produced. Vroom - MPH Models - # 572 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Bizzarini Iso Grifo A3C Le Mans 1964 as driven by Edgar Berney and Pierre Noblet. The original Vroom model went through 109 detail improvements by Tim Dyke to achieve the quality shown here including rear windscreen frame created and foil covered, pin marked rivet detail to the bonnet, roof, doors and sills, approx 1000 in total and specially turned aluminium wheels fitted. The bug deflector screen is flat against the bonnet when it should be at right angles but the car otherwise appears Mint in a Vroom box with a printed history and list of works carried out, also comes with a signed card to show that its car number 2 of 25 made in February 1992. MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1266 1:43 scale resin and alloy Ferrari TRi 330LM Le Mans Winner 1962 O.Gendebien / P.Hill 2765.58 miles at 115.24 mph. The model was created by the renowned modeler Tim Dyke in April 2000, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 21 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. hTe model in the traditional Ferrari 'rosso corso' appears in Mint condition with some dust / mildew around tyres, and features the RN6. With 251 detailed special features including "Headlamps - kit units discarded, body countersunk to accept lenses, MV lenses fitted"; "External mirror - moulded on unit removed, reshaped dowelled, lens recess carved in"; "MPH Etching for gear gate" plus many more fantastic details - some only visible under close scrutiny. The base of the model features details of the model with the MPH branding, and is housed in a plain white, Mint cardboard box with MPH Branding. This racing 'cat' featuring RN16, finished in silver was modified by Tim Dyke in November 1989, is a Limited Edition number 9 of a run of 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. Some of Tim's fantastic special features / modifications include "Roof panel line - not on moulding, scribed in"; "Dashboard - re-positioned"; "Steering wheel - replaced with specially made p/e item, pierced spokes and laminated rim" etc. The attention to detail is illuminating! Provence Moulage: MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed 1:43 scale resin Provence Moulage / MPH Models #8 Jaguar D Type Le Mans 1957 Winner R.Flockhart /I.Bueb 2732.32 miles at 113.85 mph. This stunning looking D Type which was driven by Ron Flockhart and Ivor Bueb in 'Ecurie Ecosse' blue bearing the RN4 appears to be in Mint condition. The Provence Moulage kit was was modified by Tim Dyke in December 1981. The gorgeously detailed model is a Limited Edition numbered 8 of a small run of 20 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. Some of the highly detailed modifications made by Tim Dyke include new steering wheel; redesigned gear stick, and hand brake; satin paint to recreate leather look on seats and similar. The level of detailing is overwhelming, much of which can only be seen under close examination. The model comes with a Provence Moulage leaflet. Marked 'Jaguar D, Made in France, Provence Moulage' with the MPH branding to the base. The detailed model is a Limited Edition numbered 11 of a run of only 20 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. The late Tim Dyke has made a total of 12 modifications / special features to the model which include "Bulbs fitted to headlights"; "Brake drums fitted to wheels"; "Badge to nose (not in kit)" ; Bonnet bulge on moulding removed" and many more.
