A FINE QUALITY SCALE MODEL OF A RIVA AQUARAMA SPEEDBOAT, Of 26 1/2in. overall and 8 1/4in. in the beam this iconic motor yacht is traditionally constructed of hand laid-up naturally finished individual planks over hardwood frames and floors which extends to the teak decking laid as per the original, anti-fouled below the water-line with a blue boot topping together with plated metal and plastic deck fittings, faithfully re-produced instrumentation and genuine leather upholstery to the seating and sun-lounging after deck, the model is fitted with non-functioning twin brass screws and rudders.

A fine Regency period mahogany and brass musical and quarter chiming bracket clock By Barrauds of London the enamelled dial with Roman chapters signed Barrauds, Cornhill, London and numbered '867', the arch with subsidiary dials for chime/silent and six tune selections, the similarly signed three train fusee and chain movement with anchor escapement, chiming the quarters on ten bells and playing one of six tunes at every hour on thirteen bells, the backplate and the pendulum bordered by foliate engraving, the pagoda top case with ball finials, fish scale fretted frieze above two similarly fretted door panels, the arched and glazed front between brass strung canted uprights flanked by twin pull-cords and leaf cast carrying handles, the skirted brass bound apron on brass ball feet 35cm wide, 65cm high, 25cm deep Literature: see Cedric Jagger, Paul Philip Barraud Antiquarian Horological Society 1968, and the supplement of 1979.

1:96 working scale model of H.M.S. Invincible (RO5), light aircraft carrier, the hull moulded fibre glass, with planes and helicopters, 8 feet long, In its own specially made travelling case. PROVENANCE: Built by the late Christopher Leonard Dennison (1926-1999). He was born in London and moved to Compton near Guildford in 1961 and this model is now sent in for sale by his widow. It was extensively displayed during his life-time and was used by the Royal Navy Careers Office in Chertsey Street, Guildford to aid recruitment. Mr Dennison was a plumbing and heating engineer by trade. It was his wish that it would not end its days in his attic, and although some pieces are missing and it does require some repair this, his major work, is a testament to his ability, dedication and attention to detail. Coincidentally the sale takes place on the ninth anniversary of his death.
