20th century - replica Sympiesometer with storm glass, in a mahogany case with a full length convex glass, silvered register recording temperature in both Fahrenheit and centigrade and weather predictions, comprising an alcohol thermometer, almond oil Sympiesometer and storm glass with a mixture of distilled water, ethanol, potassium nitrate, ammonium chloride and camphor. The air pressure readings are made by comparing the difference between the ambient temperature and the height of the almond oil, the readings are then noted and recorded on an adjacent temperature compensated scale which is also provided with weather predictions and an adjustable sliding pointer.
