A pair of 19th century Berlin hexagonal small candlesticks. With scale blue grounds, gilt gitterwerk and enamelled with Watteauesque panels. Underglaze sceptre marks, 13.5cm (2). Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. One with four chips to the underside rim of the base. Gilt wear to both. No other issues and free from repair.

BARWISE, LONDON. AN EARLY 19th CENTURY FLAMED MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK the drumhead style hood sat on scrolled shoulders with brass fish scale sound frets to the sides above a panelled trunk door with ebonised moulds and matching box base. The 12" silvered engraved dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and strike/silent lever to the top fronting a five knopped pillar eight-day weight driven movement with thick plates and deadbeat escapement striking the hours on a bell, with original brass cased weights and heavy brass bob pendulum having brass regulation nut 196.5cm high.ConditionThe clock is in good original condition, very nice colour and patina to case, some minor damage to moulding below the hood to the side of the case. Movement complete.

Fine French Empire bronze and ormolu portico two train swinging pendulum mantel clock, the 3.5" silvered chapter ring enclosing an engine turned centre signed Paul Garnier á Paris, the movement also signed Paul Garnier, Horloger Du Roi, with outside countwheel and striking on a bell, within an ornate foliate cast case under a regulated gridiron pendulum, over a pendulum swinging scale fitted to the top of the stepped base with egg and dart cast frieze, the tapered columns also cast with foliate bands and surmounted by an ornate stepped pediment applied and pierced with foliate ormolu mounts, 21.25" high
