MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1266 1:43 scale resin and alloy Ferrari TRi 330LM Le Mans Winner 1962 O.Gendebien / P.Hill 2765.58 miles at 115.24 mph. The model was created by the renowned modeler Tim Dyke in April 2000, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 21 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. hTe model in the traditional Ferrari 'rosso corso' appears in Mint condition with some dust / mildew around tyres, and features the RN6. With 251 detailed special features including "Headlamps - kit units discarded, body countersunk to accept lenses, MV lenses fitted"; "External mirror - moulded on unit removed, reshaped dowelled, lens recess carved in"; "MPH Etching for gear gate" plus many more fantastic details - some only visible under close scrutiny. Provence Moulage: MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed 1:43 scale resin Provence Moulage / MPH Models # 309 Jaguar E Type Lightweight Coupe (Linder) Le Mans 1964 P.Linder / P.Nocker - retired 16th hour - engine. This racing 'cat' featuring RN16, finished in silver was modified by Tim Dyke in November 1989, is a Limited Edition number 9 of a run of 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. Some of Tim's fantastic special features / modifications include "Roof panel line - not on moulding, scribed in"; "Dashboard - re-positioned"; "Steering wheel - replaced with specially made p/e item, pierced spokes and laminated rim" etc. The attention to detail is illuminating! Provence Moulage: MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed 1:43 scale resin Provence Moulage / MPH Models #8 Jaguar D Type Le Mans 1957 Winner R.Flockhart /I.Bueb 2732.32 miles at 113.85 mph. This stunning looking D Type which was driven by Ron Flockhart and Ivor Bueb in 'Ecurie Ecosse' blue bearing the RN4 appears to be in Mint condition. The Provence Moulage kit was was modified by Tim Dyke in December 1981. The gorgeously detailed model is a Limited Edition numbered 8 of a small run of 20 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. Some of the highly detailed modifications made by Tim Dyke include new steering wheel; redesigned gear stick, and hand brake; satin paint to recreate leather look on seats and similar. The level of detailing is overwhelming, much of which can only be seen under close examination. The model comes with a Provence Moulage leaflet. Provence Moulage - MPH Models # 215 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Jaguar D Type Shortnose 1956 Le Mans winner driven by Ron Flockhart and Ninian Sanderson. This model by Tim Dyke has had a host of upgrades including new accurately scaled bonnet straps, new gear lever and handbrake levers made and the steering wheel spokes drilled out with decreasing diameter holes. There is a small piece from the underside of the car which has come unstuck and is in a bag inside the box, the car appears otherwise Mint in a Very Good blue and white Provence Moulage box with a list of modifications made, a picture of the original car, an engraved plaque and a signed certificate to show this is number 15 of only 20 models made in March 1989 and a Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 25 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of the 1951 Le Mans winning Jaguar C Type driven by Peter Walker and Peter Whitehead. This model by Tim Dyke is based on a Provence Moulage kit with the added detail improvements that Tim was well known for. Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 109 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Bristol 450 Coupe as raced in the 1954 Le Mans by Mike Keen and Trevor Line coming 3rd in class and 9th overall. The original model was upgraded by Tim Dyke to give much better detail and accuracy including replacing the steering wheel, detailing the lights and fitting individual windows. The car appears Mint and comes in a Very Good blue and white Provence Moulage box with a printed history of the car, a list of improvements and a signed card to show this is car number 9 of only 20 produced in August 1988 and a MPH Models - # 1197 - A boxed 1:43 scale Talbot-Lago 1950 Le Mans winner as driven by Louis Rosier and his son Jean-Louis Rosier. This highly detailed model has been created by Tim Dyke making some 224 detail changes and improvements including creating a completely new aero screen and re shaping the entire nose section of the body. Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 286 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Bristol 450C 1955 Le Mans class winner as driven by Peter Wilson and Jim Mayers. This model was created by Tim Dyke from an existing kit and given 19 modifications and detail improvements to bring it up to this standard including re shaping and re sizing the windscreen, rear lights removed and repositioned correctly and a fitting a new accurate steering wheel. The paint colour was selected by one of the original race drivers Peter Wilson as no colour photos of the car in period could be found. The model appears Mint in a blue and white Provence Moulage box with a printed history, a list of the modifications carried out, an etched plaque and a signed card to show this is number 6 of only 20 built in June 1989 and a Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 231 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Lister Jaguar Costin Coupe as raced in the 1963 Le Mans by Peter Lumsden and Peter Sargent. Tim Dyke made 19 detail improvements to this model including fitting individual glazing with yellow tinted side windows, instrument panel engraved and painted and a gear lever made and fitted. The bug deflector screen has become detached from its frame and is missing but the car came with a spare which is in a bag inside the box. Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 373 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin Alfa Rome GTZ 2 as driven to a 4th place and class win in the 1966 Targa Florio by Pinto / Todaro. This replica has been produced by Tim Dyke with a range of changes and improvements over the standard model including fitting separate lenses to the moulded front side lights, wheel detail drilled out and track reduced to correct and the exhaust pipe hollowed out. This model by Tim Dyke has 98 improvements made to the original base kit to create this wonderfully detailed car. Modifications include new headlamp lenses fitted and new vacuum formed covers made, a new instrument binnacle fitted with detailed dials and new wheel inserts created and fitted. MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1384 Nardi 'Bisiluro' Le Mans 1955, M.Damonte / R.Crovetto Retired 3rd Hour - Accident. This 1:43 scale resin and alloy model appears in Mint condition and is a Limited Edition model numbered 14 of 25 produced by the late master modeler Tim Dyke in November 2003. The model in red with RN61 comes with hand signed Limited Edition certificate / card, and features two separate body panels which fit onto the model. The model is fixed onto a resin plinth which has a paved effect featuring photo etched plaque, and is housed within a Mint plain white cardboard box with MPH Model branding. The model comes with documents booklet which outline the history behind the Nardi and details the 147 specifications made by Tim Dyke which include "Pedals - MPH bespoke etching"; "Cockpit Floor - MPH bespoke etching, bent to shape, painted aluminium"; "Seats - creases and sags built in" and many more.
