A pair of Royal Worcester `Pheasants` cabinet cups and saucers, circa 1952, by L Maybury, each cup with gilt interior and handle, the exterior painted with cock and hen pheasants standing on a grassy area, printed marks to base, overall height 5.5 cm, together with a Worcester Style porcelain teacup and saucer, decorated with a blue fish scale ground with white cartouches painted with game birds, floral sprays and insects, with gilt highlighting, (6). Provenance: estate of Lady Willis widow of Lord Willis of Chislehurst (Ted Willis) 1918-1992, screenwriter and playwright, creator of Dixon of Dock Green and other popular television dramas.

This voyage became one of the most important ever made in the interests of geographical knowledge. Vancouver sailed by way of the Cape of Good Hope to Australia, where he discovered King George`s sound and Cape Hood, then to New Zealand, Hawaii, and the northwest coast of America. A 3.5 inch gauge model of The Royal Scott Locomotive and Tender in LMS livery this model was built to a scale of 3/4 inch to 12 inches from a full set of engineering drawings by Henry Greenly of Bonds of Euston Road London these original plans are included with the model the boiler has been compressed air tested but not fired as yet and therefore has no certificate, comes complete in a custom built glass case with length of track and a separate case designed for the tender, the overall length of the locomotive cabinet is 92cm x 38cm x 28cm the overall length of the tender cabinet is 54cm x 38cm x 28cm
