A scale model of the ship "TST Sir David Hunter", built by Fergus & Brothers Port Glasgow for South African Harbours and Railways 1906 bearing plaque inscribed as such, under a five sided glazed display case on a plinth base, 148 cm wide x 72 cm high over all CONDITION REPORTS Condition is generally good. Some light scratches throughout, general small signs of wear and tear throughout. Unable to comment on whether this is a ship builder's model or one done by a hobbyist. Unable to comment on age although it would appear the decoration on the hatches on the top of the ship are printed so this may give some idea. This item has come from a bankcruptcy job so we know no further details.

A Westland Lysander, nicknamed the 'Lizzie', a radio-controlled scale model, L4731, 185cm (83in) long Other Notes: The Westland Lysander was designed as a reconnaissance and artillery -spotting aircraft to work with the British Army. It was used in a variety of roles during WWII, including air/sea rescue and transport, and perhaps most famously for ferrying SOE Agents to and from occupied France.

Keswick - c. 1870-90s Impressive Poster Advertising 'Mayson's Ordnance Model of the Lake District' exhibited at Lake District Repository, Lake Road, Keswick. With illustration of the building where this large model is situated. Stating that; "This Model has been constructed mathematically from the Ordnance Survey after great Labour and at heavy cost. It contains 210 square feet, - the horizontal and vertical scale being 6 inches to a mile, and coloured to nature. All the Mountains, Lakes, Tarns, Waterfalls, Rivers, and their Tributaries; Woods, Roads, Villages, Villas etc., are correctly delineated". Attractively printed four colours and gold. Size 32 x 43cm approx. (The original moulds for the model still exist and are at present being conserved. In good clean as new condition).
India Sikh large scale engraving of the Maharajah Ranjit Singh in Court 1858 a superb engraving of the lion of Punjab Maharajah Ranjit Singh in Court, within a 19th century French periodical 'L'Illustration, Journal Universel' dated 15 Mai1858 and titled 'La Cour de Runjeet-Sing a Lahore', measuring 53x73cm. A truly magnificent scene of Sikhs, Sikh nobles, Akali Nihungs, Ranjit Singh, court officials, the document is in good condition Note: This engraving is based on the famous painting of the Lahore court by Hungarian artist August Schoefft now in the Lahore Museum in Pakistan. This is one of the most detailed scenes that portrays the magnificent Sikh empire at its height.

Mining - a 19th century MS map, 'New Market (sic) Colliery, draft survey shewing (sic) connection between Spencer Pit and the village of Oulton', scale 24 chains: 1 foot pencil drawn on stiff cartridge paper, 96.5cm x 137cm, toleware-type tube, c.1888; another tube, smaller, hinged (2)The Newmarket Colliery was sunk at Stanley near Wakefield, West Riding of Yorkshire in 1888 (the probable date of this survey) and was working until 1913. The proprietor was Edmund Calverley, of an old Yorkshire gentry family, whose seat was nearby Oulton Hall. He died in 1897.The Spencer Pit at Newmarket Colliery, Wakefield, West Riding of Yorkshire, was sunk in 1888 and was worked until 1913. The landowner and proprietor being Edmund Calverley (d.1897) of Oulton Hall.
Army Medical Staff Victorian Officer's Cocked Hat. A good and extremely rare example. Black silk bicorne, the front and fan 6 in. and 7 in. high respectively. Black silk rosette under a bright gilt metal scale loop fastened with a gilt Medical Staff button. A gold bullion tassel with worked head at each end. A band of black oakleaf lace between the loop and the tassels. Fine glazed leather headband and pleated crimson silk lining. At the centre of the top, a square plume-socket with spring-clip. The very distinctive metal scaled loop is prescribed for Medical Staff in the 1864 issue of Dress Regulations. The dimensions of the cocked hat given in 1864 were larger than this. In the next edition (10 years later), the dimensions of the hat were like this example but meanwhile the unusual metal loop had been discontinued
