A Royal Worcester porcelain dragon handled jug, circa 1884, the ivory body moulded with an overlapping scale design and decorated with gilt enriched flowers and butterflies, the bronzed dragon handle entwined around the neck onto the body, green printed mark to base with incised shape No. '260', height approx 29cm (some restoration to dragon).

An early 19th Century rosewood wheel barometer with broken arch pediment (damaged), above the hygrometer, thermometer and 10in. silvered scale below, convex glass cover, spirit level below inscribed Arizzi, Lower Head Row, Leeds, the case decorated with inlaid mother-of-pearl banding, 44in. high.
Marcel Breuer for Isokon Furniture Company, a BC1 chair (Isokon Long Chair), designed 1936, but this example manufactured circa 1964 by Alesbury Brothers, Maidstone. NB: Breuer's original, 1936, version has an inherent design fault where the seat is attached to the frame. Breuer redesigned the chair in 1952 making the seat slightly wider and supported on brackets. As Isokon ceased making furniture in 1939 and Jack Pritchard was busy with the Furniture Development Council, the re-designed chair was not put into production until 1964 and even then on a modest scale. This was purchased from Jack Pritchard to match the original Isokon Chair owned by the Rowntrees. See illustration

Riemersma Hayo-original painting of Tiger Woods on board signed and dated 1997, this notable painting was published and illustrated in the Playboy magazine in October 1997-canvas size 26" x 19", mounted and framed 28.75" x 21.75". Note: the portrait of Tiger Woods was one from a series of portraits of sportsmen, especially made for the Dutch edition of Playboy (other portraits were for instance of Henk Angenent, skating, and Jos Verstappen, formula-1 racing). A fine George II silver tureen and cover, Paul de Lamerie, London 1747-48. of oval form, the stepped cover with fixed shell and leaf clasped handle on a scrolled fish scale decorated ground, the cover engraved with a crest and coronet, the serpentine oval base with bold scroll handles, engraved with armorials and raised on lion’s legs with well modelled lion’s head capitals, 27cm high, 37.5cm across handles, 116oz, Heraldry: The coronet and crest of COVENTRY, created Earls of Coventry in 1697. An important pair of George II silver candlesticks, Paul de Lamerie, London 1737-38. the square bases with inturned corners, cast leaf detail and chased shells to the corners, the dome with applied and cast shells in cartouches on a matted ground, rising to a tapering square baluster stem with shell detail to the shoulders, scale pattern to the sides, foliate clasped socket, the base engraved at the flat with a rose crest (2), 19.5cm high, 22oz each, Heraldry: The crest of the rose is probably for Sir Theodore Janssen (1658-1748), a Dutch merchant who settled in England circa 1680 and was a founder director of the Bank of England. He was created a baronet 1714, a very successful financier with a reputed wealth of 300,000. He was implicated in the South Sea Bubble scandal and was heavily fined by the House of Commons committee in 1721. Provenance: Sotheby’s London, 6th November 1997, lot 163. The other two of a set of four were sold by Christie’s New York, 19th October 2004, lot 1062. Note: A set of four salts also by de Lamerie and engraved with the same crest are in the Farrer Collection at the Ashmolean Museum (Illus.
