A Worcester blue scale Kakiemon vase, circa 1770, oviform and painted in red, green and blue with long tailed birds in branches, flower reserves in gilt scroll cartouches, square seal mark, 25cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Hairline crack from rim in to shoulder, approx 7cm long. Glaze scratches around the most bulbous part. Overall good appearance. No restoration.

A Worcester blue scale Kakiemon baluster tea canister, circa 1770, painted with floral reserves within gilt scroll cartouches, square seal mark, 12.5cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Very nice condition, no breaks, repairs or restoration. Enamels and gilding good. A small patch of kiln speckling to the shoulder but overall good appearance
A selection of Roman glass, 1st-4th Century AD, all in pale green glass, comprising a small bowl, 5.7cm diameter, a conical unguentarium, 7cm high, an ointment pot, 5cm high, an onion-shaped juglet with a rich golden iridescence from burial, 7.5cm high, together with the neck of a Byzantine glass flask, 5th Century AD, later reduced to form a funnel and a small jug in Sidonian style, the side panels moulded with vase motifs, trailed handle and rim, 9cm. (6)/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: Funnel - Exterior decoration to funnel, peeling interior with lime scale deposits. Small vase - slightly misshapen with good pontil at base, later deposit throughout interior. Flat vase - cloudy with flakey deposits to interior. Smaller bulbous vase - with small chip to neck, lime deposits inside. Shorter ewer - very badly coated otherwise in good condition. Shaped ewer - with deposits on exterior, no chipping.
A Giles decorated coffee cup and a Chelsea-Derby chocolate cup, circa 1775-85, the Giles cup attributed to Neal & Co., with a pink scale border and colourful fruit, 6cm, the chocolate cup with claret ground, gold oeil-de-perdrix and panels of Neoclassical vases, 6.6cm, gold anchor mark (2)/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: The Giles decorated coffee cup in good order, with minute wear to gilding. The Chelsea-Derby claret ground chocolate cup with a hairline crack through one handle, some slight scratching to claret ground.
A large Worcester charger by David Peplow, (born 1941), dated 1978, specially commissioned by Henry Sandon to demonstrate the complexity of a scale blue ground, with panels of fancy birds in the style of the Dr Wall period, signed D Peplow and presentation inscription to Henry Sandon, 35.2cm diameter, impressed Royal Worcester date mark although no factory mark/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: Overall in good order, some minute wear to enamels and gilding.
