A late 17th century brass striking lantern clock, the 16cm. dial signed 'John Ebsworth at ye cross keys in Lothbury, Londini fecit', above engraved flowerheads and with a single hand and central alarm disc, the weight-driven movement with anchor escapement, the frame with slender tapering corner posts, urn finials, dolphin frets and top mounted bell, 39cm. high with later restorations, together with a wooden wall bracket.
A Fine Inlaid Mahogany Chiming Pedestal Clock on a square tapering column with moulded plinth base. The clock having a domed pediment inlaid with an urn of flowers and scrolling foliage framed in satinwood crossbanding, with pendant bellflowers chains to the canted sides and trailing scrolls of foliage to the moulded case. The silvered dial engraved with a mass of acanthus leaves and having three rings to the top; chime/silent, slow/fast & Westminster/silent set in a row, and a small retailers plaque engraved Finnigans Manchester within the chapter ring. Overall 71 ins (181 cms) in height.
A Regency Free-standing Mahogany 'Waterfall' Bookcase. Each side fitted with three shelves of graduated depth flanked by ropetwist columns above two cross-banded drawers to one side and corresponding dummy drawers to the other retaining their original brass knop handles. The reeded lyre-shaped end supports on sabre legs terminating with brass caps and castors, and united by an arched understretcher. The top flanked by urn finials, 58 1/2 ins (148 cms) in height, 34 ins (86 cms) in width.
