Geneve', comb 27cm, case 45cm wide CONDITION REPORT Centre of one flower missing on the inlaid lid (see image). Some prongs on the cylinder are missing and bent. Serial no. 27847. Playing on six airs (see image). Overall good condition. Case has been sympathetically restored. The lid is original. The base appears to have been reconstructed using new and old wood. Some pieces possibly stripped and re-stained

Movement is clean and appears to be in working order. Dial has minor damage around winding holes and has hairline crack between VIII and IX. Both urns have minor damage to painted decoration and gilding is worn in places. Urn on top of clock has signs of crazing to rear but could by just heavy dirt. Gilt high points are worn. Movement is signed Japy Freres behind bell and numbered 580
