An attractive 19th century four-glass French gilt bronze mantel clock in the Louis XVI taste, the case with urn finial and applied foliage on white marble plinth and gilt metal feet, the foliate white enamel dial, bevelled glass panels and door enclosing the bell-striking drum movement stamped 'A D Mougin and Ch Vcne', numbered 48548 and having a gilt metal Sun God pendulum, 42cm high.
A 1796 PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD, 83cm blade decorated with stands of arms, floral sprays and crowned Royal arms, traces of gilt on a faded blued ground, regulation copper gilt hilt with D-shaped knuckle guard, folding sideguard and urn-shaped pommel, loosely wire bound grip, contained in its copper gilt mounted leather scabbard, complete with hanging straps and remnants of a sword knot.

A CUT STEEL HILTED SMALL SWORD, 78.5cm triangular section incurved blade, characteristic polished steel hilt with down turned guard, D-shaped knuckle guard, urn-shaped pommel, turned metal grip, the whole chiselled with stylised flower heads and sparsely decorated with faceted steel studs, contained in its engraved steel mounted leather scabbard.
A Regency style gilt overmantel, surmounted by an oval allegorical scene within a surround of acanthus, floral and C scrolls and with silhouette urn to each side, the fluted frame with acanthus scroll and floral brackets, the bevelled plate 117cm x 146cm/see illustration Condition Report: Gilding appears original with small areas of touching up. Plate is bevelled. Small area of loss to base leaf moulding on the left hand side, approx 2in x 1in. Small areas of wear. Top right corner urn shaped finial cracked and loose. Otherwise condition is fair and ready to hang.
A mahogany half-round table of Sheraton design, the top with satinwood border, finely inlaid a central urn within borders of C and acanthus scrolls, garlands of bell drops etc., the frieze fitted a central drawer with oval patera and pleated drape with similar panel to each side, raised on four square taper legs inlaid bell drops and united by a flat platform with satinwood border and central oval patera, 66cm wide and the matched pair, 61cm wide/see illustration Condition Report: Both tables have very minor abrasions, commensurate with occasional use. A very near pair, one 66cm wide, other 61cm wide.Larger table - shrinkage crack approx 3in. long within scrollwork on top, otherwise condition good.Smaller table - appears in very good condition.
A George III mahogany and inlaid breakfront secretaire bookcase, the open fretwork swan neck pediment above four astragal doors and a pair of swagged urn inlaid doors flanked by two rows of five short drawers, stamped Edwards & Roberts, basically 18th Century with later inlay, 290cm x 250cm Condition Report: General condition good, some veneer splits to glazed door surround, one glass cracked, base with ring marks and other minor staining. One drawer split, both doors split. New leather fitted to secretaire, other minor blemishes throughout. Doors not warped, two shelves missing from cupboard. Each end fitted two shelves, the centre section fitted three shelves. The glass and handles are original and the patina is very good.Interior depth for books 35cm in middle, 28cm at the ends.
