Some firing faults and some minor losses.
A Good and Fine Late 18th Century Chinese Carved Ivory Brisé Fan, Qing Dynasty, the twenty-eight inner sticks and two guards delicately carved with a mainly floral design. The guards, more deeply carved, feature birds and flowers. Alternate rounded tips feature a bird or flower. Centrally, a shield containing the initials MM is contained within drapes with tassels and too each side three pairs of smaller roundels contain the same floral sprays that fill the rest of the central panel. A distinctive and unusual border divides the central section form the lower gorge, this featuring two further roundels carved with birds and a decorative urn filled with flowers. The verso is flat. Contained in a modern hinged fan box. Guard length 10 inches or 25.5c. Ribbon sound. Some traces of glue. One sliver lacking within one stick, to the left, nothing else noted.

An Adam Style Oval Gilt and Gesso Mirror, late 19th/early 20th century, the bevelled glass plate within a moulded, beaded and stiff leaf decorated frame surmounted by an urn, 78cm by 92cm. A matching pair of early 20th Century Continental twin handled ceramic urn vase having burgundy ground with central classical garden scene and floral sprays throughout. Raised on a round bases with gilt decoration to body and scroll handles and covers atop. Stamped to base for Prov Saxe ES Germany. Together with another pair of Continental urn vases of similar decoration being raised on square bases. Tallest measures 28cm tall, 16cm in diameter.
