George III silver and tortoiseshell verge triple cased pocket watch made for the Turkish Market by George Prior, London 1808, the fusee movement signed Geo'e (George) Prior, London, no. 34340, with pierced engraved balance cock with urn, flat steel three arm balance, silvered regulating disc and ornate pillars, the enamel dial signed George Prior, London with Turkish numerals, minute track and blued steel beetle and poker hands, within plain matching inner cases and tortoiseshell outer case with pinwork decoration and chased silver mounts, case maker 'I.R' (James Richards), 62mm (the movement requires attention)-**George Prior was born in 1782. He moved to London and built up a considerable business in supplying watches to the Ottoman Empire, at the time one of the wealthiest markets in the Middle East. He died in 1830-Movement - fusee unwinding when wound - requires so will repair.Dial - light surface marks, faint hairlines.Glass - light surface marks, chip blemish to the outer edge at the six position.Hands - some surface corrosion and light marks.Case - inner case with light surface marks and a few small indentations/bruise marks, middle case good with light surface marks, outer case missing a small section of tortoiseshell, surface scratches, mild hairlines, some pinwork missing - see all images for guidance.-Condition reports are provided for general guidance only. A BRASS CLUB FENDERLate 20th Century With burgundy red leather button down corner seats and central urn finial, 45cm high; Internal base measurements are adjustable with a minimum of 126cm wide, 36cm deepCondition Report:The base with broken or loose adjustable mid-section - we have had difficulty pushing both sides together to their minimum measurements of 126cm, but believe the maximum measurement would be around 160cm wide; would recommend repair as some parts are rusted within the frame. Evidence of use and wear to the metal frame with knocks, marks and scratches. The leather with evidence of use and age including scuffing, some spot marks, various small paint splatters in white.
