A pair of early 20th century American gilt brass table lamps, each arranged as an urn issuing flowers supporting four candle holders, the whole surmounted with fittings for two lamps, with on/off cords (lacking shades), h.66cm Condition Report / Extra Information Lacking shades. Both finials to top appear replacement. Significant tarnishing all over. One missing flower petal lower left. The back to one lamp separated halfway up from vase and requires re-soldering.

3rd century BC-3rd century AD. A gold urn pendant with square base, piriform body, ribbed loop; bands of granule and filigree detailing, two scrolled lateral handles. 3.78 grams, 29mm (1 1/4"). From an important private London collection; formed in the 1970s and 1980s. Fine condition, small dent.

Urn: 1.1 kg, boards: 38 x 30.5cm (15 x 12"). Ex Buddle collection; formerly in the Hemsley collection in 1963; previously in the Yardley collection; found by E. E. Bowden, north side of the church wall at Baginton Castle, Warwickshire, UK, in 1933. Displayed at Leamington Spa Museum prior to 1963. Baginton Castle is a 12th century motte and bailey castle with a wide ditch defending the landward approach, a flat-topped motte on an escarpment of the River Sowe. In the 14th century, Sir William Bagot added a large fortified tower. In 1417 the estate was presented to the Dean and Chapter of St Mary's Collegiate Church in Warwick. The castle was a ruin by the 17th century and laid out as a formal garden in the 18th century with a gazebo. The castle is now part of a nature conservation site. [No Reserve] Fine condition; repaired and incomplete.
