An Ormolu Porcelain Mounted Striking Mantel Clock, circa 1890, urn finial, blue porcelain panels depicting flowers and birds and with gilt painted borders, porcelain dial with Roman numerals, finely painted dial centre with two birds amongst foliage next to a birds nest, twin barrel movement striking on a bell, movement backplate stamped JBD and numbered 28529 and stamped with retailers name Barrie, Edinburgh, 38cm by 32cm 22.08.19 Ormolu surfaces are very slightly stained in parts, top porcelain urn finial with one chip positioned to the back underside, movement is dirty and needs cleaning, later pendulum.
