19th Century giltwood and gesso girandole wall mirror, the plain oval plate beneath urn surmount with swags and foliate scroll work, over shaped bracket support with four scroll branches, 105cm high Condition: Mirror plate is a possible replacement as glass appears thicker and clearer than often found on these early examples. Typical cracking and some flake losses to gesso including losses to bead work surrounding base surmount, flaking to plinth beneath urn, some typical losses and cracking to foliate scroll work, further bead work losses and tight crack to frame etc. a later wooden backing strip to rear supports the structure. Good quality 19th Century inlaid mahogany linen press, the upper section with swan-neck pediment over satinwood-crossbanded doors, each centred by a large marquetry urn issuing flowers in the manner of Edwards & Roberts, enclosing five oak-lined tray shelves, the lower section of three graduated satinwood-crossbanded drawers with brass oval back plate bale handles on ogee bracket feet, 130cm x 54cm x 222cm high Condition: Light external wear including minor knock to left door and very tight veneer cracking to satinwood crossbanding plus knocks to ogee bracket feet, dark mark to right hand short drawer and a couple of small veneer losses to drawer dividers, otherwise sound - **General condition consistent with age
Hugo Lonitz & Co majolica pedestal bowl, the handles formed as winged maidens, each emerging from the mouth of a grotesque fish, and flanking a Satyr standing on an acanthus moulded flared foot, impressed mark to base and number 1451, 39cm wide x 42cm high, Condition: There is a metal screw connecting the urn to the column, the base of the foot has a thread to the external circumference suggesting originally this piece sat in a larger flared foot. Some restoration to the foliage and to the fish fins, would recommend viewing this lot in person. **General condition consistent with age

Henry Simcock, Daintree, an ebonised bracket clock, circa 1700, the bell top case with handle above and four urn finials, the single fusee verge six latched pillar movement with quarter pull repeat on two bells, the 18cm square brass dial with winged cherub spandrels, silvered chapter ring, mock pendulum and date apertures, ringed winding hole, signed to the scroll engraved backplate, glazed sides, on four brass disc feet, with later wall bracket having frieze drawer. Note: Henry Simcock is recorded working in Daventry (also known as Daintree) circa 1714. See Baillie (GH) Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World, p.292. 36 x 26.50cm (14 x 10in) ConditionLooks to have been repolished / cleaned. With later wall bracket. Seatboard nailed to supporting blocks. Repeating work/train may be a 20th century replacement or addition. Appears fully wound. Currently ticking but not tested for any duration. I suspect refurbished 20 or 30 years ago when purchased. Has a crank wind key and case key. See photos.
A French late 19th century neo classical ormolu mantel clock, the urn shape case with bud finial above a pair of serpent entwined satyr masks to both sides, the 10cm painted dial with blue numerals, the bell striking drum movement marked 'W. Oppenheim, Londres - Paris', on a waisted socle and bow fronted base with 5 segmented disc feet, with giltwood stand, the clock 45cm high, together 50cm high 45 x 26cm (18 x 10in) formerly with a sixth foot to the centre reverse of the base. Untested
A French bisque porcelain Three Graces mantel clock, last quarter 19th century, after the model by Étienne-Maurice Falconet, the urn case with horizontal annular dials, supported by a fluted column attended by the Graces indicating the time, the count wheel striking movement with lever escapement, all on a relief moulded rectangular plinth with gilt metal base Other Notes: The original model by Falconet was executed in white marble about 1770. It is in the collection of the Louvre museum. Finial glued, not currently ticking. few firing cracks, some slight loss to garland flowers. A little grubby in places. See photos. Private lady owner downsizing. Sold as is.
Johannes Bosschaert (Dutch, 1606-1629) A stone urn on steps decorated with flowers and fruit beside a dolphin- headed spouting fountain in an extensive landscape signed lower right "J. Bosschaert" (strengthened) oil on canvas 127 x 180cm (50 x 70in) Provenance: Mawley Hall, Shropshire Oil on canvas which has been lined. There are minor undulations across the canvas although it is generally in plane. The paint layers has localised areas of cupping and raised paint. There are small scattered losses across the surface. There is overpaint in many areas, in the darker paint passages this has been handled in a wholesale manner and has darkened. The varnish us slightly yellowed but semi-glossy. The frame has suffered from extensive losses to the gilding and appears to have been repainted with bronze paint.

Titled to base with beehive mark. 34cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Some wear, particularly to gilding in places but no obvious damage.
