A marble and ormolu mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the backplate stamped with the mark of the roulant blanc maker 'Etienne Maxant, Paris', the white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, Arabic outer numerals and signed by the maker 'Briant a Paris', with decorative pierced and engraved gilt brass hands, the ormolu pillar case having classical female figures draped either side, with various ormolu mounts and a frieze to the front depicting putti within a scientific setting, surmounted by a classical urn, all standing on a white marble base inset with further ormolu mounts, height 57cm. * Etienne Maxant is recorded as working at Rue de Saintonge, Paris, in the mid 19th century.
Japy Freres, Paris. A French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the blue porcelain dial having black Roman numerals, spade hands and signed 'Miroy Requier & Co', with floral and bird painted decoration to the centre, the ormolu case having applied mounts with lion's head handles to the sides, a blue painted plaque to the front depicting a gentleman and lady on a bridge and surmounted by a painted gilt and blue porcelain urn, height 35cm. * Japy Freres were the most productive of the French movement makers, the business having been started by Frederic Japy in Beaucourt in the late 18th century. * Miroy, Requier & Co were retailers recorded as being in London circa 1875.

A 19th century mahogany and inlaid sideboard of bowed breakfront outline and large size, having a brass gallery rail with urn finials, the front banded in satinwood bordered with boxwood and ebony lines, having a concave centre fitted with a drawer in the arched apron, flanked by an enclosed cupboard to either side and a further enclosed cupboard of bowed outline to either end, on turned and reeded tapered legs, 230cm (7ft 6½in) long.

A French ormolu mounted porcelain vase, 19th Century, probably Sèvres, the bleu-du-roi glazed urn shaped body applied with a bead and leaf rim, the shoulders with stylised Anthemion band flanked by a pair of foliate capped scroll and twist handles terminating at a stiff leaf and berry border, the fluted foot framed with an acanthus wreath on a square base, height approx 33cm.
Early 20th Century Garniture, comprising a mantel clock, with silvered dial, inscribed, "English case\German movement", striking on a gong, contained within a brass case with urn finial, cast cornice and Moorish front, North African arched form and with a cast and painted scene of Arab figures and an elephant, on a rectangular base and scrolled feet and a pair of matching Side Vases, each with an appliqué panel, decorated with a hunting scene, one of a lion, the other rhinoceros, each piece with impressed number.

A 16th century Montelupo maiolica albarello, circa 1530-40, of slightly waisted cylindrical form decorated with a scroll label inscribed 'DiANBRA' (made from Ambergris) above an urn and with resist daisy heads and incised scrolling showing the white tin-glaze beneath. 17.5cm high.
