A Victorian Ebonised Chiming Table Clock, circa 1880, arched pediment with urn shaped finials, fish scale side frets and carrying handles, scroll feet, 7-inch arch brass dial with a Roman and Arabic chapter ring, chime/silent selection in the arch, triple fusee movement with an anchor escapement and quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells and a further bell for the hours, movement backplate engraved with scroll decoration, 42.5cm high see illustration 11.06.21 Case with small dents and scratches, pediment with cracks, back door with chips, back door hinges are slightly loose, back door escutcheon is slightly loose, metal mounts are discoloured, dial is slightly discoloured, movement looks all complete, with pendulum.
A Mahogany Stick Barometer, signed R.Harper, Liverpool, circa 1840, swan neck pediment, concealed mercury tube with a single vernier scale silvered dial signed, thermometer box, urn cistern cover, 101cm high 10.06.21 Both sides of the wooden vernier dial surround is loose, bottom left hand corner of the vernier dial surround with a piece of veneer missing, mercury is visible in the main tube, and thermometer tube, vernier dial is discoloured in parts, case with small scratches and minor dents in parts.
A Royal Worcester Porcelain Vase and Cover, by Harry Davis, 1907, of urn shape, the scroll handles with mask terminals, painted with sheep in landscape within moulded and gilt borders, signed, printed mark in puce, 21cm high. Restoration to finial. Vase repaired where pedestal meets lower body. Some typical minor wear. Enamel in good condition.

The Rubáiyát..., translated by Edward Fizgerald, photogravure plates by Adelaide Hanscom and Blanche Cumming, all on thin tissue paper, colour-printed sheet of symbols, this copy illuminated in watercolours by Irene Stanley Martin for her brother Frederick Guile Stanley with decorative border to frontispiece, hand-coloured title and borders to text, also with illuminated presentation leaf, list of precious stones used in the binding & their meanings and fair copies of letters/verses from the contributors to the binder John F.Grabau bound in, bound in dark brown morocco elaborately tooled in gilt and set with 86 precious stones, by J.F.Grabau, upper cover with inset panel inlaid with tendrils of flowers and leaves in red, green and coral morocco all tooled in gilt and inset with gem stones around an oval recessed panel mounted with a gold urn inset with large stone, border ruled and tooled in gilt and inset with stones, lower cover with recessed panel inlaid with morocco flowers & leaves and tooled in gilt within similar border but without inset stones and central feature, spine titled in gilt with five raised bands with small gilt dots and compartments of gilt-tooled red morocco floral stem, green morocco doublures ruled and tooled in gilt with similar flowers to corners, signed "19 Grabau 27" at foot of front turn-in, crimson silk moiré flyleaves, t.e.g., others uncut, 4to (c.265 x 200mm.), New York, Dodge Publishing Company, [?1905].⁂ One of the first American literary works to be illustrated with fine art photographs. Adelaide Hanscom Leeson (1875-1931) set up a photographic studio in San Francisco in 1902 with Blanche Cumming, and in 1903 they began taking photographs to illustrate the Rubáiyát, using well-known California literary figures including Charles Keeler, Joaquin Miller, George Sterling, and George Wharton James as models. John Frederick Grabau (1878-1948) trained at Gies & Co. printers in Buffalo, NY, joined the Roycroft Bindery in 1902 and founded his own Derome bindery in Buffalo in 1905. A note at the beginning states,"These and the following Poems and Letters are copied from the Autographed volume owned by John F. and Minnie M.Grabau, and passed on to my friend Frederick G.Stanley who is much interested. March 1927. JF.Grabau, Buffalo, NY." These include pieces by Joaquin Miller, Adelaide Hanscom, Charles Keeler, George Sterling, and George Wharton James, with the latter's mounted cut-signature. The precious gemstones used are moss agate, cats-eye coral, bloodstone, turquoise, garnet, matrix, opal, amethyst sardonyx and pearl.
Three late 18th - early 19th century gold-cased navette-shaped lockets, each with glazed locket compartments containing hair decoration, the first with ornate hair and glass bead anchor to the obverse, the reverse with plaited hair, the second with a classical urn to the centre with a hair border, the reverse with a memorial inscription date 1787, later brooch fitting, the third containing an elaborate beadwork and hair decoration of floral spray on a mother-of-pearl pedestal, with clasp fitting
HENRY ATKIN; a late Victorian hallmarked silver sugar box with hinged lid, set with a turned wooden urn finnial and with part gadrooned body, Sheffield hallmark but date letter obscured, width 10.75cm, approx 8.35ozt/259.7g.Additional InformationAs detailed, hallmarks are legible apart from the date letter which is obscured, some light surface scratches throughout, the lid locates well with just a tiny gap around, but basically in good order.

Additional InformationMinor wear to gilding otherwise good condition.
NORITAKE; a Japanese porcelain twin handled lidded urn featuring enamelled panels, jewelled and gilt decoration on white and bleu céleste grounds, mark to base, height 33.5cm.Additional InformationSpreading hairline crack to rim, blue residue to base of finial indicating that it has possibly been off and re-glued, some rubbing to decoration as well as discolouration to gilt, dirt and dust.

BLOOR DERBY; a 19th century twin handled urn vase, the central panel painted with floral sprays inside gilt scrolling detail, height 23cm, and a Chamberlains Worcester pot pourri and cover, painted with roses inside gilt detail, height 10cm, diameter 12cm (2).Additional InformationThere is a fine star crack to the interior of the Bloor Derby vase, crazing, an area of restoration to the inside of the body of the Derby vase, there has possibly been a drill hole. Restoration to one of the points of the Chamberlains Worcester pot, wear to the gilding.
A pair of 20th century Sèvres porcelain urn vases, with gilt metal mounts and floral decoration, painted marks to base, height 31cm, with a similar pair of brass mounted and porcelain candlesticks, height 23cm, and a pedestal dish, also two brass candlesticks (7).Additional InformationOne of the urn vases has damage to the cover. The same piece has a break to the pedestal which has been crudely glued back. Wear to the gilding throughout, scratches, scuffs and wear.
