SWANSEA PORCELAIN URN SHAPED VASE having twin ram's head handles, a thick everted rim and the body moulded to each side with a swag of delicate flowers, all raised over a circular base, painted with roses, flowers and butterflies and gilding to the foot, border and handles, 15cms high Auctioneer's note: for reference, see page 127, illustration No.3 'Swansea Porcelain, Shapes & Decoration' by A.E (Jimmy) Jones & Sir Leslie Joseph. The authors state that other manufacturers produced a similarly shaped vase but it is our opinion the delicate nature of the vase and the exact match in size point to this being a Swansea vase
