A very good heavy Victorian brass and metal Dog Grate, in the Adams stye, with raised decorated arched back over a large basket grate with pierced apron, on brass fluted and tapered legs with large classical urn finials, with Registration stamp on reverse, 85cms high x 86cms wide (33 1/2" x 34"). A 19th Century gilt bronze Mantle Clock, Woppenheim, Paris, in the Adams taste, the top with an urn shaped finial embellished with rams head handles flanked by grotesque masks with a central enamel and blue painted Roman numeral dial with inset painted porcelain panels on platform base and turned feet, approx. 38cms (15") h. A late 18thC eight day longcase clock, the caddy top holding a 29cm dia. dial with silvered chapter ring signed Shepley Stockport with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary second hand and date aperture with raised eagle urn and floral spandrels, above a shaped trunk door flanked by gilt highlighted quarter columns, 205cm high.
A matched pair of Caverswall hand painted limited edition vases, by W R Tipton, each with domed lids, urn shaped bodies, ram mask handles and panels decorated with birds in a summer landscape, with gilt highlights on circular feet, printed marks beneath, 28cm high, no. 76/100, and no. 52/100. Tortoiseshell case back slightly dulled by minor digs and case marks but no loss, secondary case with old damage from wear to the push-piece but an attractive example of the type

The movement apparently complete but fusee chain detached and/or broken. No play in hinges, both cases closing tightly, wear to gilding on exterior of inner case, polychrome decoration and tortoiseshell on outer case in good condition, complete, not chipped. slightly faded and darkened with age. Push-piece with old damage
